Lors de mon exposition solo Hydres, je fondais mes recherches artistiques sur une réappropriation du concept de Gesamtkunstwerk. Le concept du Gesamtkunstwerk ou art totale me sert de comparatif dans le but d’explorer une forme de production artistique qui réunirait simultanément art, design et pratique curatoriale. Mon exposition se structurait en but d’offrir un lieu propice pour expérimenter les possibilités d’interventions commissariées à même mon installation. Des espaces neutres étaient formée de deux zones principales : un tapis large de couleur étain et trois tables. En l’espace d’un mois, cinq artistes furent invités à partager leur travail dans le contexte alternatif qui leur était offert.

A Shared Space, l'Oeil de Poisson, Quebec City, Canada
During my solo exhibit Hydras, my artistic research was based on a re-appropriation of the Gesamtkunstwerk. I used The Gesamtkunstwerk, or total work of art concept, as a point of comparison in order to explore a form of artistic production that would simultaneously bring together art, design and curatorship. My show was structured such that it would offer a space that favoured the experimentation of the possibilities for intervention curated within my installation. Neutral spaces were divided into two main zones : a large grey carpet and three tables. During the exhibition, five artists were invited to share their work in this alternative context.
